Frequently asked questions
Do parents need to create an account to buy tickets?
No. They buy as guests, pay by card, and receive their QR tickets by email. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Can volunteers run the gate without training?
Yes — that is the design constraint behind the whole tool. A volunteer opens the check-in screen on their own phone and scans; duplicates are refused automatically. Each role sees only its own screen.
What does it cost a PTA?
£19.99/month + 1% of ticket sales, with a 14-day free trial and no card to start. One fair of 150 × £5 tickets is £750 through a professional page — the subscription pays for itself in saved volunteer hours.
We are a registered charity — anything extra for us?
Yes: the giving module (donations with UK Gift Aid declaration capture and HMRC-ready export) is free, at 0%. Useful for donation drives outside event season.
Can we use our own web address?
You get yourname.facilevents.com immediately, and you can connect your own domain (e.g. events.yourschoolpta.org.uk) from the admin — SSL is automatic.
